I grew up in Ekalaka, MT. I was a nurse for about 10 years, and decided to go back to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner after much urging from my then CEO. I completed my Masters of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. I chose this school because of its reputation of being an outstanding university, but fell in love with the history, tradition, and focus on holistic care of families in rural settings. It has become abundantly clear, management of physical health cannot be accomplished without managing mental health as well. With this in mind, and the great shortage of mental health providers in the United States, I am currently completing a post graduate certificate in Psychiatry/Mental Health, and hope to develop a program to incorporate mental health into primary care. My heart will always be in eastern Montana and with the people in this little corner of the world. I am dedicated to providing the best possible holistic care I can here.

Hello! My name is Skye Watts. I am the Registered Dietitian, Licensed Nutritionist, Certified Lactation Consultant and Certified LEAP Therapist at oneHealth. I got my bachelors in Food and Nutrition from Montana State University in 2013 and completed my supervised practice internship in May of 2014. I was born and raised in Miles City and serving this community is my passion. I pursued a career in nutrition after starting my own journey to a healthier lifestyle. Through my education I have learned how to help use food as medicine for my patients and through my own personal journey I have learned that it takes hard work, patience and a few setbacks before reaching your goals. I have always had a deep love for children and babies, from that love stemmed a passion to help mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals through education and support. I am also starting to venture into food sensitivity counseling that I am so excited to grow and learn more about to help patients feel better. When I am not working I spend time with my other half and our beloved dog, Addy. I love to sew, crochet, and snuggle up with a good book.
